We are a professional string quartet based in South Somerset. Between us, we bring a wide variety of experience, performing as soloists and in groups from symphony orchestras to folk bands, from electric to baroque, as well as working in education and therapy settings.
As the Kilima Quartet, we aim to give quality concerts showcasing classical music, with some lighter styles thrown in.

Graduate of the Royal College of Music. Orchestral player with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Bristol Ensemble, Devon Baroque. Teacher and workshop musician.
Polly Or-Ewing

Graduate of Manchester University. Chamber musician, music therapist, teacher, Dalcroze Eurythmics specialist. Director of Magdelen Farm Strings chamber music course.
Alex Chivers
viola
Graduate of Trinity College of Music in violin and viola. Leader of the Somerset County Orchestra, Bridport Chamber Orchestra and Exe trio. Fiddler in Arquebus Trio and Hobson's Choice Barn Dance Band.
